In my work, the tableau is an infinite field in which every intersection is the center, and every figure is constantly reforming. Autobiography manifests as attention to subculture.

Rauf Sunyaev is a Tatar painter born in Moscow, Russia in 1997. He was raised in Newton, Ma; currently based in Brooklyn, NY. “Sunyaev” is occasionally spelled “Syunyaev”.
